Nichols CPL - Founder & President
Recipient of the 2006 HAPL Landman of the Year Award
Mr. Nichols has been in the oil & gas business for the last 20 years. In 1989 he founded Cinco Energy Land Services and over the past 17 years has built Cinco into an innovative company providing the highest quality Land services to a diversified clientele. His background in the Landman industry has aided Cinco's success and ability to better understand project scope from survey to final product. He received a B. A. from the University of Texas and served in the USAF as a pilot. He is a past President of the HAPL, has served on the AAPL Certification Committee and is a frequent speaker at seminars on land related issues. Additionally, he holds memberships with the HAPL, Houston Forum, Energy Landmans Breakfast Group and Houston Energy Finance Group.
