Subdivision Map Act
Subdivision Map Act public hearing notices now must
be provided to Mineral Rights holders. AB2867 addresses
concerns that mineral rights owners have not been heard
during the public hearing process in communities and
have not been a part of the decision making process
or provided maps to aid in the exercise of their mineral
rights.
Public agencies, ignorant of the new law, deny mineral
rights owners access to the right to comment at public
subdivision hearings, and therefore the ability to access
their reserve. The liability consequences are enormous
for both the public agency as well as the subdivision
builders.

The Nape Conference was an opportunity
to talk to potential clients in the Energy
industry. Our primary objective was to introduce
our GIS Mapping Solutions Company. The tools
we used to demonstrate our land and GIS
capabilities included a comprehensive video,
digital and paper presentation as well as
extensive booth graphics.
